The Thieman SL 15EST series offers two versatile and cost-effective side-loading lift gate models designed for truck bodies and trailers: the SL 15EST-10 and SL 15EST-6. Both models feature high-strength extruded aluminum platforms and Teflon composite bushings at major wear points, ensuring durability and minimal maintenance. With a lifting capacity of 1500 lbs, these lift gates provide reliable performance for various applications.

  • Side Rail Clearance:
    • SL 15EST-10: 10″ reach without notching truck body
    • SL 15EST-6: 6″ reach without notching truck body
  • Controls: Molded toggle switch control
  • Operation: Power down, level ride
  • Lift Cylinder: Dual cylinders, 3″ bore x 6″ stroke, adjustable shaft for platform height adjustment
  • Idler Arms: Adjustable idler arms to adjust platform angle
  • Pivot Pins: Non-rotating stressproof material with Nitrotec
  • Bushings: Low maintenance replaceable bushings at critical wear points
  • Grease Fittings: Screw-in type for easier maintenance
  • Safety Latches: Dual latch chains lock platform in stored position
  • Platform Surface: Extruded aluminum with ribbed surface
