400USS
The Galion 400USS Dump Body is specifically designed for heavy-duty hauling requirements, making it ideal for construction work, aggregate hauling, and bucket loading. Built with tough high tensile steel, the 400USS is engineered to outlast and outperform other dump bodies. It is recommended for single axle underbody hoist applications.
- Dimensions: Available in a 10′ inside length, 86″ inside width, with 26″ sides and 32″ or 36″ ends.
- Sides: 8-gauge high tensile steel with material-shedding boxed top rails, full-depth 15″ rear corner posts, one intermediate horizontal “V” brace, and 6″ or 10″ front and rear board extension pockets.
- Floor: 8-gauge high tensile steel with a 9″ floor-to-side radius.
- Front Bulkhead: 8-gauge high tensile steel construction with a two-bend top flange and one intermediate “V” brace.
- Tailgate: 8-gauge high tensile steel, 6-panel design with full perimeter box bracing, two intermediate vertical braces, one intermediate horizontal brace, double-acting design with long chains, and two sets of banjo eyes.
- Tailgate Hardware: Heavy-duty cast “tarp friendly” top hardware and cast overshot lower hardware with a manual release handle.
- Lighting: Meets FMVSS108 requirements with oval stop/tail/turn lights recessed in the rear post. All lighting is recessed, shock-mounted, and comes with a factory wiring harness.
- Understructure: Stacked design utilizing 6″ structural longitudinals gusseted to 4″ structural channel crossmembers on 12″ centers, lubricated front and rear cross shafts, and a full-width rear bolster.
- Safety Features: Includes a “body up” warning light and OSHA-required backup alarm.

The Galion 400U/T Dump Body is designed for heavy-duty loading and hauling conditions, making it ideal for contractor, municipal, and other applications where durability is key. This model is available with front mount telescopic or underbody hoist to meet your most demanding requirements.
- Dimensions: Available in 9′ and 10′ inside lengths, 84″ inside width, with standard side heights of 24″, 26″, and 30″, and 10″ higher ends.
- Sides: 8-gauge high tensile steel with material-shedding boxed top rails, full-depth 15″ rear corner posts, three intermediate vertical side braces, 10″ front and rear board extension pockets, and full-length tarp rails.
- Floor: 8-gauge high tensile steel with a 2″ floor-to-side radius.

The Galion 450U Dump Body is a heavy-duty solution designed to excel in low-temperature environments with integral heat ducts. Ideal for aggregate hauling, spreading, construction, and batching work, the 450U is built to perform year-round, anywhere in the world.
- Dimensions: Available in a 10′ inside length, 84″ inside width, with 30″ sides and 40″ ends.
- Sides: 10-gauge, 100K PSI yield steel with material-shedding boxed top rails, full-depth 15″ rear corner posts, three intermediate vertical side braces, 10″ front and rear board extension pockets, and full-length tarp rails.
- Floor: 3/16″ PL 400BHN steel with a 2″ floor-to-side radius.
- Front Bulkhead: 8-gauge high tensile steel construction with a two-bend top flange and one formed-in-place intermediate “V” brace.

500UT
The Galion 500U/T Dump Body is excellent for over-the-highway aggregate hauling, construction, batching work, and spreading stone, sand, gravel, and other aggregates. As the largest of Galion’s steel body product line, it utilizes high tensile steel throughout for superior resistance to abrasion and can be used with underbody and telescopic hoists.
- Dimensions: Available in 12′ through 17′ inside lengths, in 1′ increments, with an 84″ inside width. The 12′ bodies come with 33″ sides and 43″ ends, while the 13′ through 17′ bodies are available with 43″ sides and 53″ ends or 48″ sides and 58″ ends.
- Sides: 10-gauge high tensile steel with material-shedding boxed top rails, full-depth 15″ rear corner posts, vertical side braces, 10″ front and rear board extension pockets, and full-length tarp rails.
- Floor: 8-gauge high tensile steel with a 2″ floor-to-side radius.
- Front Bulkhead: 10-gauge high tensile steel construction with a two-bend top flange and horizontal pressed V reinforcements.
