Landscaper Truck Upfitting
Spring is when landscaping crews go full speed — and the last thing you need is a truck that isn’t set up for the work. Mid-State Truck Equipment installs the racks, storage, and bodies that landscaping companies in Fishers and Greenfield, Indiana rely on to keep their equipment organized, accessible, and secure from the first job of the season through the last.
Whether you run a solo operation or manage a fleet of trucks, we can help you build out vehicles that work as hard as you do.
What We Install for Landscapers
Every landscaping operation runs a little differently. Some crews haul mowers and hand tools on the same truck. Others run dedicated loader rigs or pull trailers with separate truck storage. We work with both owner-operators and multi-crew companies to figure out what setup makes the most sense for how you actually work.
Landscaper Upfitting Services

Ladder Racks & Material Racks
Ladder racks and pipe/material racks keep long-handled tools, extension ladders, and staging equipment out of the truck bed and off the floor. We install racks that mount securely to the cab or bed rail, sized for your truck and the loads you carry.

Toolboxes & Truck Storage
Crew trucks need organized, accessible storage for hand tools, power equipment, and supplies. We install toolboxes from brands like Weatherguard and RC Industries — underbody boxes, topside boxes, and specialty configurations — that keep your gear locked down and within reach at every stop.

Landscape Truck Bodies
MTE builds and installs landscape bodies designed for crews that haul debris, mulch, soil, or loose material on a daily basis. These bodies hold up to real workloads and are spec’d for the truck and the job. We also carry MTE branded
landscape bodies built specifically for contractors in this region.

Dump Inserts & Hoists

Work Lighting & Safety Lighting
For crews working early mornings, late evenings, or on roadsides, proper lighting matters. We install work lights, strobe packages, and safety lighting that keep your team visible and your truck compliant.

How It Works
Tell Us How You Work
We start with a quick conversation about your truck, your crew size, and what you haul day to day. The more we know about how the truck gets used, the better we can match the setup to the job.
We Recommend the Right Equipment
Based on your truck and workflow, we’ll walk you through options that make sense — no overselling, no guessing. If something won’t fit your rig or won’t hold up to your workload, we’ll tell you.
We Handle Installation
Our shop installs everything correctly, including any wiring, mounting, or integration work. You pick the truck up ready to work.
Frequently Asked Questions
